Here are the numbers for my public stratum 2 box (my stratum one box
hasn't been in the pool long enough to get meaningful numbers)

Estimated inactive ntp pool clients: 5507
Total ntp pool clients being tracked: 9871
Note: NTP is a stateless and connectionless (UDP based) protocol, so
exact numbers can't be determined.
149267310 ntp requests, in total, have been seen since 03/08/05 11:25:14
23860181 (16.0%) are from clients that are still active.
That works out to be just over 10 requests a second over the last five
months. I see significant peaks when I'm in the DNS rotation that fall
off when I'm not in the rotation.
