Seems like a good idea to me.

I think the peaks when your system does take its turn in the active pool are 
also important.  Mostly, I don't want anybody to get surprised.  Maybe the 
what-to-expect section should have a few links to typical graphs.

Maybe links to a few nasty graphs too, with some description of how likely 
they are to happen.
