Thank you for responding, but I am just as lost as ever. For whatever reason, I can pick up sql-ledger, or quickbooks, and figure out how to do basic things. With OpenERP, I can find no way to do anything.
I am not afraid of losing data, I just see no way to do anything. I don't understand how to get started. > > "I would perform some action and then use SQL in a terminal to look at what > it put into the tables" > How? I don't see any way to put anything into any table. I am guessing that openerp will not do anything useful some modules are loaded. So, I tried to follow the instructions to load the stock-4.3.1 module. I got this error: > > ERROR: column "published_version" does not exist at character 57 > > select > "website","license","name","author","url","demo","published_version","state","latest_version","shortdesc","cate > Did I do something wrong? I don't see what. Does this the module will not work? Is there a version problem? Is there any way for me to know which modules will work? -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openerp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=24875#24875 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
