I'm glad that you have found a suitable Open Source accounting package, but I think it underlines the differences between what Open ERP can do and the accounting package you have been looking for (to quote its web page "LedgerSMB is a fork of a popular general ledger software package called SQL-Ledger."). I don't agree that "it does practically everything that OpenERP does". Maybe it does everything you need, but that's not the same. As far as I can see, however, many people on these forums are looking for something similar - a low-cost way of getting accounting with a couple of extra bits rather than a full ERP. Many others actually want ERP.
