I'm sorry you're having such difficulty understanding OpenERP. As was said
it's a complex set of software. When you compare between OpenERP and a simple
accounting system this is apples to oranges. Unfortunately, there is no "Hello
World!" for OpenERP. You would need several hundred "Hello Worlds".

The scope of OpenERP is very broad and requires a huge effort to document.
Even though OpenERP is open source it would require some party with the
resources that could produce and donate documentation of this magnitude for it
to be freely available. There is no large corporate sponsor at the moment that
can do this. So the next best thing was that Tiny and some of the partners
created some books. Books cost money to produce. Everyone has gladly paid for
their good efforts.

Right now, there is the Wiki that is openly available. If this is not enough
then please do yourself a huge favor and purchase the OpenERP book. Even if
you do not end up ultimately using OpenERP it will educate you about ERPs and
help you understand how things work.

Regards,
Gerry
