I don't have comcast but what exactly does the "broadcast on discovery" mean?

The special broadcast on Discovery usually takes place in the eastern time
zone at 4:05 AM on channel 25 Comcast cable. It happens once or twice a week.
It now seems to be happening much less often than it used to. It is automatic
and occurs unless you are recording something else at that time.

Nothing important, a special broadcast on Discovery that contains data
for the system - sometimes guide data, upgrades, etc. If the system
doesn't get it the data comes over the call home - there hasn't been a
SDD for a while, now, a couple of months I think.
