I'm really sorry If I have offended you. But at one moment it seemed that nobody didn't bother to actually read anything I wrote, but they were sure in themselves enough to make presumptions based on something I never said. How would you react if somebody accused you like this: > Great advertising but *I am sure* you have some sort of axe to grind > here... > ...Try to sell the positives of your product and not the negatives of > your competitors and you will get better responses. He did not bother to read what I really wrote, but he was "sure". Some people pointed that HiFace is a DAC, some that it is a soundcard... again, nobody bothered to read the (clear) description, or the info that I made available. As part of the argument, it was even said that these mods' primary purpose is to improve analog outputs and that comparing Touch to HiFace makes no sense. Yet on the original author's web page, these software and hardware mods are said to be beneficial to Touch's digital outputs! Analog outputs mod was only mentioned at the end of the text, in form of removing output caps. It seems that nobody is taking time to read things carefully and with understanding any more. Internet has became a medium for a quick "hear-say" and it doesn't really matter if something has been understood wrong, it will soon become a well established truth if enough people repeat it. Many people do not feel the need to think things through anymore - it is easier to repeat what others said. I guess that your incorrect assumptions on how HiFace works, in spite of all the info I already made available, were the "last drop". I'm sorry if I overreacted. But they were one proof more that only few people actually bother to carefully explore, read and educate themselves on some subject before entering a discussion. In my opinion this could be regarded as some form of disrespect - some people are not bothering to spend some time to carefully hear/examine/evaluate what the other party in discussion is actually saying. But they are willing to take part in it anyway, thus waisting other persons time, who has to repeat things many times over and over, since nobody cared to listen/read carefully. I must admit that things like this can put me out of balance sometimes. I'm guilty as charged! :) -- Kuja ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kuja's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32935 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80013 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
