I don't have a Touch in front of me at the moment but try this (it's just a little different to what you have been doing). I also presume that the dac you are using is one of the supported ones and that you did not have to install a special kernel (that you might have forgotten about). On the Touch: 1) Uninstall the EDO from the 3rd party Applet (also make sure that you do not have the re-install after updates option enabled). 2)Then follow the procedure, but take the option to update the firmware. 3) Then continue with the remaining steps. When you do the final restart of the Touch, make sure that the EDO is not re-installing. Check that the Touch is working normally, the install EDO again. I have version 7.9.1 running on a rpi3B and also Windows and last used the EDO on my Touch about three weeks ago. I can't check until Friday evening, but will do so if you have no luck. What dac are you using?
