Nope, I don't believe this is true.  I've always been told to call *2.  Now, if 
you truly know someone who works at Sprint or Nextel, they can put you in touch 
with a special support group that's specifically for this purpose, but not if 
you get the SERO by just plugging in some random reps email address on the web 
site.  And as far as complaints, from what I recall, it was a lot of SERO 
customers who got the boot as they were constantly trying to get more or better 
deals and/or complaining that they weren't getting billed right...

Are you saying that when they see your cell phone number is a SERO account
they consider you a business customer? Or do SERO customers get a different
customer service number to call.

>From what you say here, perhaps the complaints regarding Spring customer
service are rarely from SERO customers.
