The iphone battery is said to last about a year. Then you have to send the unit in to have the battery replaced, at a cost that makes it more sensible to buy a new phone. What a scam. Yes, no physical keyboard means it belongs in the trash.

I certainly prefer a physical keyboard, but that doesn't mean I would throw out an iPhone if someone gave one to me! :) I never understood the whole battery issue that people have with iPods. I guess if you keep your device for several years you may run into problems, but the battery lasts so long that I've never had a problem with it running low and I normally trade up every 1-2 years for a new model, so it's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned... > >Levi > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of >> Scandals & Animals >> Sent: Friday, July 11, 2008 5:22 PM >> To: [email protected] >> Subject: Re: [Treo] Of threads and treo-heads (was Treo 800w) >> >> As long as it lacks a physical QWERTY and has a non-replaceable >> battery, it >> belongs in the trash, no matter how pretty it is. >> >> ......
