************* The following message is relayed to you by [email protected] ************ Hi Ant Some very good suggestions in your message, I was wondering if the percentage of people needing objectives would have risen since Dennis wrote TROM as according to my observation and articles on TV and newspapers it appears that there has been a huge increase in the use of drugs and alcohol. When I used to work in pubs back in the 60s and 70s a pub was a social meeting place, the majority of people were not heavy drinkers today the idea seems to be to imbibe as much as possible till they are in a state of complete stupidity. Also the use of computers where one's attention is at a fixed distance for many hours also of course games machines.
I could probably do with some objectives myseld so recently I sent for some Tai Chi CD/DVDs and the first exercise I saw was the one you described. I don't know if you would call the following objectives but I find completing cycles of action around the house/garden to be very effective in keying out the reactive mind, at the moment I am organsing things around my house with the idea of "A place for everything and everything in it's place.
