My mother is Finnish; she raised me. In the Finnish dictionary, 'aarre' means treasure, as in the valuable stuff. 'Pelto' means field, as in farmer's field, and 'maa' means land as a whole, country/nation. There are a lot of geographical names in Finland. > > Thank you for your kind words. > Your welcome. > > I'm not the guardian of the TROM tech. If we exagerrate 'the Pill' philosophy ad absurdum to an extreme, you could say that Dennis didn't even have to write the materials, and do the lectures in the first place, because some will be smart enough to figure it out by themselves, and the rest will be left behind. But look at all civilization; advances were built on the shoulders of earlier forebears. Otherwise we would all be living in caves still if everyone of us had to design a gasoline engine, smelt steel, etc. etc. from our own first generation knowledge. I don't think that I would ever have come up with the TROM data by myself. So this is a roundabout way of saying that we need to help others, because we have been helped. It's like investing in the raising of children, and then they will turn around and raise us, next time when they are our parents. Give and take. There is a filtering mechanism, and some won't make it through all the filters to get to the goal. But we can let more people get through the filtering process by making their barriers of understanding the materials less difficult, not more. My concept of ethics includes to do the maximum benefit possible towards more freedom of games playing, or not playing. To say that 'they unqualified themselves out of getting to do TROM' wouldn't feel so much like a justifier to me, and would feel more complementary if we did all that we could within our capacities to make the materials available. To say that you led the horse to the water but he didn't drink is unfair if the waterbucket was hidden behind some barriers, making it mostly non-visable. There's an information overload of so much data in the world, and that is one overwhelm that hides things that would otherwise be in broad daylight. I agree to the idea of separate study booklets that point to the original manual. The study booklets would have to have some practical drills and assignments in them to work well; this would definitely lead the person to read the whole manual, because he would be so excited about the tech, and would be pointed out the the appropriate original chapters in the original manual with quotes, page numbers, etc. I AGREE WITH AND INCORPORATE THAT AS MY CONCEPT. Thank you, Happy Harry, for the nudge. Now, who the dickens is going to do this? I'm trying to figure out how to have 36 hours a day, 8 days a week at my current case level. > > I mean, take the Qur'an, for example: many, many muslims learn Arabic just > so they can read it in the original Arabic. But to get someone to 'kickstart' to be motivated enough to invest that time, the person must have had some wins or cognitions to start with. Analogy is that to start a gasoline engine, there must be at least a little fuel already in it for ignition to start; called priming the pump. The newbie needs to get that initial 'buzz' that'll get him started. Like kindling wood to start a bonfire. Too many misunderstood words acts like too rich a fuel mixture, and clogs up the combustion till it stops. Letting him get some quick wins will accomplish this. That's why your idea of study aids is a good one. I do believe the newbie must start doing some RI pretty soon, and start drilling with his mind pretty soon before he has to read the whole manual, or the initial enthusiasm/ignition spark will often be extinguished. Remember, doingness must go with theory for good study. That is LRH study tech, which I strongly agree with from my personal experience. > > On a different note, and I realise this is in contrast to what Denis wrote > about planetary clearing with TROM, I don't think everyone can do it - do > TROM. (this datum only sits well with me partially; somehow it doesn't seem to as-is for me somehow. Perhaps the 'why' was something other than the basic courses and services. Perhaps it's the suppression in the org, as you copiously read about in the Freezone that was closer to the why? > Be grateful that you found TROM.
