Apostles are EYEWITNESSES 1Cor.9:1 Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?
Can you show me someone called an Apostle in the Bible that was not an eyewitness?
They should also manifest Signs & Wonders & Mighty Deeds.
Without which you can not have a real Apostle.
I am not aware of any LDS claims of Signs, Wonders or Mighty Deeds
Apostles did not just help the sick, they healed the sick & raised the dead!
Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people
2 Corinthians 12:12 TRULY the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.
Revelation 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them LIARS
There are some who claim Apostleship and are not, they can not produce the signs of an Apostle.
David Marks stated of his conversation with Whitmer in 1830
"they further stated, that 12 APOSTLES were to be appointed, who would soon confirm their mission by miracles"

The world is still waiting for that confirmation.....
The first presidency laid hands on & "Blessed" the 3 Witnesses, who then laid hands on & ORDAINED the Churches first set of 12 Apostles in Feb 1835.
In Brigham Youngs "Blessing" HoC v2 p189 the prophecy was that "he may do WONDERS in the name of Jesus; that he may cast out devils, heal the sick, RAISE THE DEAD, open the eyes of the blind, go forth from land to land and from sea to sea; and that the heathen nations shall even CALL HIM GOD himself, if he do not rebuke them."
It seems the only devils he cast out were most of the first 12 since they sooner or later became APOSTATES!
