No, Dave, not at all.  That is just Kevin DAVEH:  Ah yes......I realized that after I had posted it.  Sometimes it is difficult to sort out who said what in these long threads. trying to justify his dislike for something that was a frequent part of the repertoire of the Messiah.   It's strange ... the LDS are more honest than the vast majority of those who call themselves "Christians".  Y'all don't try to squeeze three into one.  That's either dishonest or stupid.  At least y'all call three THREE.   Also, y'all take care of one another with the Relief Society but it is next to impossible to get "Christians" to do so.   Generally speaking I prefer dealing with the LDS heretics DAVEH:  LOL.....At least you don't sound opposed to dealing/speaking to Mormons.  I think some people on TT think we have horns beneath our caps. rather than with the "christian" heretics (of which nearly all "christians" are).   By the way, somewhere in my files I have a letter from a direct descendant of one of the Pratts circa 1940 that proclaims that BoM teaches Oneness and NOT polytheism. DAVEH:  That's interesting!  It also might interest you to know that Joseph Smith originally kept the 7th day Sabbath but it was a hard sell so he went along with the first day folks. DAVEH:  Hmmmmmm......I hadn't heard that before.  Thanx for mentioning it.  I'll have to look into IF I ever get any time to do so.  Right now, it is all I can do to read all the TT mail every day.  I'm leaving for a couple weeks and can only imagine the pile I'll have to read when I return.    There is a LDS group out of western Missouri that is pretty much in agreement with all that I believe from Scriptures except they add the BoM ... BUT they say JS perverted it soon after he started and that they have the ORIGINAL which they call "The Nephite Record".  However, unlike my experience with all other LDS, they use the Nephite Record as an adjunct to The Bible DAVEH:  Hmmmmm again......That is also interesting.  Do you recall their name?
