jt: I don't know whether or not I agree because I don't know what your definition of grace is John. If when you say grace you mean "unmerited favor to cover sin" then no I wouldn't agree.  I believe grace is the God given empowerment to do as we ought.  His mercy will cover our messes if we are walking in all the light we have and occasionally slip-up so long as we take care of it ASAP but too many professing believers are walking in defeat and ignorance because they are not taught how to walk after the Spirit and deal with sin in their lives - or even what God sees sin as.   jt
