I don't know whether or not I agree because I don't know what your definition of grace is John. If when you say grace you mean "unmerited favor to cover sin"
Is your definition of the greek translated "grace" of your own creation. I am not aware that there is any scholarly disagreement among those who translate our Bible.
To argue the point, you are saying that salvation is due us assuming a full degree of righteousness.
