Aw, Lance, you disappoint me.  Now you are resorting to ad hominem
arguments.  I'm not doing any proof-texting and my views are not
"non-orthodox."  They are non-Calvinist to be sure, but not
"non-orthodox."  You are a well read man.  Read the works of Jacobus
Arminius for the arguments showing that perfectionism per se is not
unorthodox in that it was never repudiated by any of the church fathers.

I also hope you understand that there are various views of
perfectionism, some of them very unorthodox, but that is not to say that
all perspectives of perfectionism are faulty.  There are faulty views of
the Incarnation and the Atonement too, but we don't throw out all
theology of the Incarnation and the Atonement just because we have found
a few to be wrong.

If you find something faulty in what I say, present the Scriptures and
your arguments which would expose my error.  Don't just hurl names at
me.  Present your case.
