Examples:

In Exodus, Moshe gives us information on the Tabernacle. He gives very little visual information (essence). Instead, he gives the function of the Tabernacle (which, in the Hebraic mindset is far more important). We know what material is used in the curtains, for instance, but beyond the use of the color blue very little visual information. The color blue is
detailed because its FUNCTION is to remind us to obey the commandments of YHVH (see Numbers 15).  -- slade

I'm not understanding here.  I see all kinds of colors and details in the directions given to Moses for the construction of the Tabernacle and every one of them is meaningful and functional as well as visual.  Genesis 35:6,7 speaks of Blue and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and rams skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood [.....]  Priests garments are the same. God was extremely detailed and quite specific.
