1) No verse speaks for itself. They all involve context and require
interpretation. John is not throwing the verse out of his bible. John is claiming
that you are mis-interpreting (intentionally) the verse.

jt: Yes, and the one who interprets is the one who inspired the authors and no
prophecy of scripture is for "private interpretation"

2) Christ does not hold the covenant. Christ is the fulfillment of the covenant.

jt: The Covenant is with Him - through His blood - He is the judge and the one who
decides who is in and who is not.

3) God does change. There was no humanity in God prior to the incarnation.

jt: There isn't any humanity in God today either.

4) Dealing with sin is not an option? Paul disagrees with you on this backwards and
forwards.

jt: Where? Chapter and verse in balance and context please?

5) Jesus' blood is always effective. Since when is Adam stronger than God Himself?

jt: Jesus' blood is not a "rabbits foot" Without repentance it will not avail.

6) God does say Be Holy as I am holy. There is but one human being who is holy:
Jesus Christ. We subject ourselves to Him. Do not confuse your own obedience to be
in any way as worthy or effective as Christ's.

jt: I'm not the judge of worthiness in myself or anyone else, I am more concerned with
obedience to the Word and will of the Father.
