FWIW -- I also think WM is an great idea, and am quite happy it exists.

WebMacro is currently available under either the GPL or a license whose
initials are SPL ... in this case, S stands for Semi... or something --
basically, this is the ASL with names changed to be appropriate for WM.
The other license under discussion is the Simple Public License (also
SPL ;-) ... I'm not a lawyer and I won't presume to advise you on
whether or not you'd want to use it.
However, since WM is currently available under a license which is
effectively equivalent to the ASL, there are absolutely no licensing
issues with it -- using it should impose no burden on you or your
clients.
