Victor, I to have a 36 SS 1976,I addressed the same issue.I wanted a DRY boat. I live in Arkansas so we have a lot of hot humid weather and get alot of strong thunderstorms. I removed all windows, replaced sliders with rigid dark tint safety glass.I am very happy with this setup.Downside,ventalation.on a nice day you can always open aft hatch and rear door.As another wrote, you really cant keep it dry with factory setup. The boat not only stays dry in the worst weather,it looks like a new boat.I also replaced windshield glass.Went to dark and will be replacing those again,a good hail storm broke one anyway. So long as you have plenty of BTUs to cool, you should be very happy going all rigid.Wasnt cheap but well worth it. good luck.also...need a vent in the head if you like hot showers.
