Uniflite's fuel systems are robust, if a bit complex.

I've never seen an unmodified Uni fuel system that included bottom feeds
that would enable passive level equalization.  They seem to have had an
aversion to fittings on the bottoms of their tanks.  FYI, ABYC standards
now prohibit fuel fittings anywhere except tank tops in gasoline-powered
boats.

If there's a provision for moving fuel between tanks, there has to be a
transfer pump somewhere in the system.  If there's no pump, and no bottom
fittings, the manifold is just for supply and return.  Having said that, I
have no idea how your particular system works.  You may have to find
another 46 owner who has figured it out.  One source may be Tom Laskey, a
surveyor in Florida.  He and his wife live on a 46.  Or, at least they used
to.  I haven't seen Tom in a long time.  Here's his website:
