Ypur "IP" stated that the tank levels returned to half full, so rerouting 
and running, may furnish a clue to the "loose ends". My suggestion to go to 
sea, was based on the possibility of losing 1 or 2 engines in the  channel. 
This would hopefully get you out of harms way. I feel that there is another 
set of valves somewhere.I have valving under the cockpit.
