But thanks for the clarification, that you were comparing the output of a HiFiBerry PCM5xxx DAC connected to a Pi Model A, against the "stock" analogue out of a Pi Model B. If you are happy with the quality of the sound output from a "stock" Pi analogue out, then that's all you need.
