Eh??? I test stuff using mostly my own time, mainly at my own expense. That I don't have time to test every possible option in combination with every other possible option...... My main interest is ensuring that if a change is made to RPi code that could possibly end up affecting I2S on Pi (whether that be clock, dma code or whatever it is), that I'm trying to front-run it on as many different products as possible, before it hits the general population of users. I also have one eye on compatibility with LMS/squeezelite, because that's what I personally use. And for the record, although I own several items of HiFiBerry product, they have all been purchased by me, none have been gifted, or provided for testing, nor have I ever received payment for anything I have done (the best example of which would be testing) from any manufacturer of Pi audio product, unless a "Thank you" constitutes payment! But if that makes me under fire, and you need someone to blame, please let that person be me! Totally off-topic.... My 70+ year old mother owns an iPad. Should she... Probably not. If you ever saw here sat in her big comfortable chair, furiously stabbing fingers at the screen, trying to make it "do something" and then calling me up 10 hours later, to ask how she can get back all the pictures she deleted, when all she wanted to do was reply to an email..... LOL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
