I give up. Perhaps you can make use of the flaws/weaknesses that I figured out. At least these are on the bench now.
And one final comment. (I'm not neither a HW developer, nor a SW developer - call me advanced usere) As far as I understood from the Datasheet, the PCM5122 supports DSP stuff up 2 48khz only! Obviously it has limited processing power. That would explain the flaws to a certain extent. However. It then must be a coincidence that some filters work and others not. Wouldn't it then make sense to disable all DSP functions for samplerates > 48khz in the driver??
