Hi
I got the dreaded "Empty" Artists (from LMS on PCP) and it turns out net mount is having issues again, and I'd thought I'd fixed my server issues! Previously the Network Disk Mount 'Enabled' check box was unticked (apparently due to the server being unavailable at aboot) but now it is checked, so I guess the issue is different this time. Extract from PC dmesg: [265880.808831] CIFS VFS: Server 192.168.1.3 has not responded in 180 seconds. Reconnecting... [302937.030707] pcm512x 1-004d: No SCLK, using BCLK: -2 [303418.167998] CIFS VFS: Server 192.168.1.3 has not responded in 180 seconds. Reconnecting... Please run fsck. but I've no idea when these CIFS errors occurred. The server is available from other machines and hasn't restarted. I tried the "Set Net mount" button and it gave me: Write to mount [ INFO ] Mount configuration changed for 192.168.1.3:/Bs+music [ INFO ] Unmounting Old Mount Point: /mnt/music. [ INFO ] Checking new Mount Point /mnt/music. [ INFO ] Mounting Disk. [INFO] mount -v -t cifs -o username=xxx,uid=1001,gid=50 //192.168.1.3/"Bs music" /mnt/music [ERROR] Disk Mount Error, Try to Reboot. [ INFO ] Backing up files to /mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce/mydata.tgz/ Done. [ OK ] Backup successful. And then prompts me to reboot. Why is this? After I rebooted the network disk mount is disabled. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mr-b's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10044 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111787 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
