Warning************************************** I learned the hard way that you can really screw things up by using the Cups browser controls directly.I was at first thrilled to find these controls. I made a few changes then pushed the test print button and the next thing I knew it was printing test page after test page and wouldn't quit for nothing! I had to turn the printer off to get it to stop and every time I turned it on it started up again! yes I tried everything I could find or think of but in the end I ended up with maybe 10 pages of test printing before it stopped. I later found that all the controls most people need can be found using the Print center. They aren't as easy to spot as they could be but they are there. I guess it's just part of the learning process ;-) I would consider the Cups controls for advanced users...I got the impression it would be easy to really screw your printer up so that it could be very hard to get it working again. YMMV. >I've heard that printer sharing needs to be enabled in the Sharing pane >of the System preferences. > >Don't worry Phil, we'll get it working for you... > >-Ford Ford how did you find the IP address for your Printer? It seemed to me that was a missing piece and I'm interested in how that worked out.
