Although I do not have much time atm I wanted to make a small
suggestion, voting for one or multiple "single database file" examples.

One real world szenario I've stumbled over lately is:

A freelancer having a database of adresse, some potential customers,
others have gotten first advertising or contact and there are some
customers, too.

This could be a start for the novice-or-little- more-knowledge type of
example.
