But he didn't get the reply so he can't read it. Replies to
[email protected] do ***not\*** go to unsubscribed posters unless the

If by not getting a reply you mean one sent to him directly that's true.
From what little I've looked at Gmane it appeared as though it was
possible to post from there. If true, he can access the list to post and
read replies without being subscribed.
What am I missing?
