For some unaccountable reason my lengthy list of fonts from the original Core2 does not include Times New Roman. I should clarify - same lack of response from both the icon *and* from "Format", "Character". BTW now that I look at Baskerville again I may make it my default font as I had back in the WP/DOS days. It really is a very readable typeface. The "bold" and "underline" icons work as you would expect - as on-off toggles either to modify existing highlighted text or pre-typing on, post-typing off. This is decidedly strange. But maybe a blessing in disguise if it forces me to accelerate my upgrade plans :-) Brewster -- ********************************************************************** W.
