Tried to synch carbs last fall, but just couldn't get one of them in line
with the rest. I recently took it to the dealer and he couldn't do it either.
Not quite sure what's wrong and am getting ready to pull the carbs apart this
weekend. What I'd like to know are the top things to look for. I plan on
cleaning it and checking float level, but any other info would be apprecated.
Some other info that may be important:
throttle not as responsive as it used to be (of course)
exhaust smells a little rich
also, when I feel the exhaust while the bike is at idle, on three of the
pipes I can feel distinct "pulses" ...on one exhaust it's just a steady
flow...no "pulse" (if it doesn't have a pulse is it dead? :-) ).
