for all the time you and the others have contributed to helping me with this.
OK, I'll forget about the jets. Don't think that O ring is in there tho...we
looked with a bore light and couldn't find it....will have to check the other
screws now. Good idea about the lube in the carb seats...will do that too.
In the "if it isn't one thing, it's another" department...I got new
rubber...Dunlop 591's...on the way back from the dealer I noticed that I now
have a violent headshake problem on deceleration that I never had
before...looks like I'll be doing the Furber fix this weekend also. But it
seems a little strange to me that just changing rubber (inflated to 32 front
and rear, tire direction OK, and balanced) would cause that problem. Oh well.
NOW I feel like a REAL Vmax owner!!!!
