bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad idea. Luckily you got bit by the patch
and it didn't allow you to make yourself an open relay.

looks like REQUIREAUTH looks to see if RELAYCLIENT is set and then requires
you to authenticate. I'd mark this as a bug myself (since it should always
accept mail to rcpthosts)
