Yup. I have the C&F hackle pliers and they help me tie parachutes when
the hackle is getting small. Great tool!

A rotary vise is useless for winding parachute hackles. The swivel
hackle pliers is the way to go on them. That is all I have used for
about 25 years. The long handle one is the best for that. I can show
what I mean at the show., Gee now I am picking on you. LOL I am in a
good mood this morning.
BTW, the poppers are finished and you can pick them up at the Sowbug.

1 1/2” I think and the other has a 4 1/2” handle with a built in
half hitch tool on the end of the handle. Guess it’s the only way
I can find out of they are my cup of tea or not. My Daddy did a
lot of mechanic work his whole life and he used to tell me “Son,
you can’t have too many tools” LOL.. Guess I’ll find out if he was
right. In my mechanics tool box and my tool shed, most tools I own
I hardly ever use , but when I need them I REALLY need them.

I have some, rarely use them, but don't usually use this kind of
hackle pliers tip as I find it breaks the hackle more often than
the standard pliers tips that come together. I think it is just a
matter of preference.
