Hmm it is a little annoying but hard to abide by sometimes. Perhaps
for the sake of keeping the Vim group "friendly", and to better
enforce it for people who really don't care, we could start the new
thread ourselves, and post to the old with "Please start a new thread
for new topics in the future. See the {thread title} thread for future
discussion on this topic ( {link} )" or something like that.
