Yep Ray - I told her last night I have a 1963 out in the country needing restoration and that it was the same exact year as Herbie. She got all excited and said, "Oh I loved Herbie!"
I was sharing my photos with her of my previous VW trips I took before I lapsed into a horrific depression (ca. 2001). Reminiscing with her over them she said, "Erin, I'd really like to do this with you someday." She's a sweetie and I gotta dig that Australian accent. We're going to document her month-long visit from May 6th to June 6th and I hope to get a little section up on the website that we can maintain. I'm looking forward to it and sharing the photos with all my old VW pals...
