Doesn't sound like that would be too hard.  I could use a grinder, clearance 
the horns, and weld in a piece of metal that was kind of radiused and 
indented.  I'd be doing this conversion on a pan without the body so it 
wouldn't be a big deal.  It would be nice to be able to title the car with 
the original stock pan.  Then I assume I just need the spring plates, 
trailing arms, etc. Are the splined torsion springs the same on swing axle 
as they are on IRS?
