I agree it would be nice for users if every service was supported
equally across all platforms, but remember, you're talking about
companies who are offering competing services and products. They aren't
going to support their service on a competitors platform unless they
think the income from that service will outweigh potential new sales of
their own devices. There's no imperative that every company has to
support every platform.

What is missing on the android side for Apple Music experience? Now from an
excess ability point of view, there are some things missing, since there are
some unlabeled buttons there that are not on the iPhone side. So, sloppy
programming by somebody at Apple. And, since, at least from my point of view of
the android interface is not as efficient as Apple, that is also different. But
that is not apples problem. They are going along with the android conventions
which are not as efficient in my view. Anyway, what do you mean when you say
the experience should be the same across all platforms? I assume you're talking
about a general experience, not a specific accessibility one. Somebody else has
already pointed out that other pay services for music or also not integrated
with the Amazon echo. Therefore, in this case, I do believe that some at least
some, of the blame falls squarely on Amazon.

Once again, I disagree Mary. Apple needs to loosen up and let Apple Music and
agree with Amazons Alexa, as well as Google's assistant. Just because the app
is on android doesn't mean that it's the same experience, and it should be
across all platforms.

You really don't need to mess with the iPhone app to change user profiles. If
you have two different people in your household, both of whom have Amazon
accounts, each can have a profile on your echo. To change profiles, you simply
tell the echo to change from person A to person be profile. The app is
unnecessary.

Hi all, hope this question is appropriate for this list, because it has to do
with the iPhone native music app.
For those of you that have an Amazon Echo, what is the experience like
listening to your music on your iPhone? The only thing I know for sure is you
can use Echo as a bluetooth speaker. Is there other ways? Do any voice
commands work once iPhone is paired? For example, Alexa play my Mozart
playlist. Will it play it from my music library on my phone? How about Alexa
go to next song.
I’ve been trying to Google this question without much success.
Secondly, I’ve read now you can have 2 user profiles with the Echo. Is this
pretty user friendly via the iPhone? Easy to switch between household members,
etc.
Thanks for the help,
Traci
