Unlike some others on the list who are seeing the dead screen issue, I never lose speech. VO speaks every icon and action as it should. I also here the appropriate sounds. But aside from that nothing happens. Tapping and flicking and other gestures have no effect until I kill the currently active app either with the home button or the app switcher. Interestingly, I never see this problem on any of the home screens, only when inside an app. Also, the problem is not exclusive to third party apps. I see it just as often in apps like mail, music and message.
