Look in the SYSTEM CONFIG file which is usually on MAINT's CF1; do a Q
CPDISKS to find out. Note this query requires class A priv. There are
timezone_boundary statements that tell CP what timezone to use when it IPLs
based on that the dates and times.

Ok, I think Im getting It.
I did a Q TIMEZONE
q timezone
Zone Direction Offset Status
UTC ---- 00.00.00 Inactive
GMT ---- 00.00.00 Inactive
CDT West 05.00.00 Inactive
CST West 06.00.00 Active
This says CST is active.
in april, when we change time again I would issue
the command
SET TIMEZONE CDT
and the system would then change the time correcly???
I then should expect to see my vse's come online after
the VSE IPL??
Second q: I did not issue a set timezone CST on sat
night. How did my timezone get changed to CST from
CDT????
Thank You,
