Thomas sez:

> The G W advocates are unfazed by this, they just renamed it climate change.

This is illogical. It also doesn't make any sense.

Global Warming advocates were not responsible for renaming the term
from "Global Warming" to "Climate Change". The term "Climate Change"
came about, I believe, as the result of advocates sympathetic to the
Bush Administration's agenda, which essentially ended up politicizing
the science of analyzing global weather patterns.

The Bush administration began to stress the use of the term "Global
Change" instead of "Global Warming" for a specific reason, to deflect
and confuse the public when it came to discussions of global warming.
It seems pretty obvious that the Bush Administration, in the
collective sense, doesn't believe "Global Warming" is happening. They
chose not to believe it is happening because it would be inconvenient
and an impediment to their goals, which by proxy becomes America's
goals, which essentially translates making sure nothing gets in the
way of plundering the planet for self-gain, cuz it's good for
business.

Unfortunately, the administration managed to score some success in
getting many to switch over to using the more confusing term, "Climate
Change".

"Climate Change? What does that mean?"

Mission Accomplished.
