This is completely incorrect. We have many remedies for air pollution in China and India. We can sell them advanced technology that will save them money, improve efficiency and greatly reduce their carbon emissions. We are doing this. Japanese corporations are doing it more than American corporations, but both are doing this, to everyone's benefit. The Japanese, for example, are selling the Chinese their high-speed electric railroad technology, which is far more energy efficient than present-day Chinese steam locomotives.
Unless you can point to an article or other information indicating that Mr. Gore has some means of selling carbon credits I suggest you refrain from saying that. As far as I know, the only organizations that will be able to sell carbon credits are those that already produce massive amounts of carbon -- such as factories -- and are positioned to reduce the amounts. Private individuals do not produce millions of tons of carbon. Of course Gore would be in a position to purchase (and perhaps resell) carbon emission permissions, but anyone can do that even now. You can purchase them in any Seven-Eleven convenience store in Japan.
