Well, the effects are somewhat different; I don't have
the facilities at the moment to work with
superconductors (did back home, when I had some
monongahela-big dewars!).
As far as my tests have been able to determine, the
Morton effect is pretty conventional; nothing like
gravitational.

A 1 tesla field of any reasonable size is not easy to
come by. I suppose I could pilfer some big donut
magnets from...er...speakers...

Then again... I don't think I want to go down there.
Maybe I'll just buy some if I continue this
experiment. But at this point, I'd need suggestions.
Are you suggesting placing the spark tube through the
hole in a donut magnet (opposite large faces,
oppositely poled)? Or something else? Either way, I
can try it. Let me know what you need.
