Yes. 10kV oil burner ignition trans, old heavy iron
core dude, 23mA secondary short circuit current.

These capacitors are mylar film.

Hmm. Just so happens I have a moderately sized Marx
sitting across the lab. Not really huge, but it does
ring the ears when it blasts. It is constructed with
ceramics. This one does not use resistors for
charging, it is inductively stacked.

Maybe I should put some pictures of some of this stuff
up somewhere.
