You're right that they are common knowledge to most serious fly fishers.
Do you tell those folks that are friends that fishing is not an obsession??
I spend a lot of time finding places to fish....and almost feel that if
you're going to ask about good places to fish then you need to invest some
effort. I've started to limit my discussion of those sites to
people that I fish with.
Of course, I'm going to break that rule in my answer to Kent!!!
The "no trespassing" lake wasn't close to a major transportation corridor
and
near a major energy corridor?? I fished one of those about ten years ago
and
noticed that it was posted after a few years. Now when I drive past the
no trespassing signs appear to be gone?
