This isn't really applicable since it's quite different from what I'm
trying to accomplish.

I was just wondering if you've looked at this on a Mac? In NN3/Mac, when I
mouse over the link buttons slowly, it works OK, but if I move the cursor
quickly, the images in the right column start stacking up on top of each
other resulting in a confusing jumble.
