Another nail in our coffin on this project .... our Mac folks test on
NN4. We're aware that the NN3 JavaScript implementation is slower,
hence doesn't work smoothly. 'Stacking up' is new to me, however. Does
the 'confusing jumble' clear itself up after some time, or just stay
that way?

Guess we'll just dump the rollover thing completely for NN3 and use
the same code branch as we're presenting to MSIE3. Let 'm click their
way. Or just pretend nothing is wrong. Sjeez. Would you believe we're
doing this for free, just to win the account and sell them a new
subsite? Never again.

How do you folks all go about testing your sites? I have all NN
versions from 2 upward for Windows95 and from 3 upward for Linux, plus
MSIE2 and MSIE3 but no co-existing MSIE4 on Win95. I don't have an
Apple and I don't have an NT machine. And I also do not test on
version 2 browsers anymore. I usually go about using defensive code,
trying to be as standards-compatible as possible and then test it on
NN4 and lynx, assuming if it works on those two it will work
everywhere ;-). Until the bug reports arrive :-(.

I mean, if for every change I make I have to fire up 3 browsers,
reboot into windows and fire up another 4 sessions, then call somebody
who is mac-enabled and get them to have a look at it in 2 sessions
.... is anyone doing this systematically?
