GIFs and JPGs allow you to assign "Alternate Text" parameters. These are
usually used to say the same thing for "Text Only" browsers such as Linx,
but many designers use it to "spam" a keyword making it more prevelant on
the page. Many Search Engines consider this in indexing the page. You
should be able to increase your keyword ratio with this technique with some
forethought.

If you're getting good compensation for it, should turn out to be very
profitable for you. I'd probably use something like Paint Shop Pro for
some interesting effects.

This is definately a consideration, but depending on content and interest
to the viewer, may not be that important. I've gone to some interesting
sites that were graphics only.

Agreed. You can't select any text for "Copy and Paste', but you can
usually print out the page.
