When my old LC used to do such things, you just had to pick up the edge
of the system and drop it on the desk, give the opposite side of the
system a slight whack, blow into the vent fan to move the dust around and
jiggle the power cord.
Used to clear those performance problems right up ;)
We've got one mac at the foundation running Communicator. Sits next to
PII. Haven't used it, but I assume it works well . . . the interns wait
in line for it even when the PII is free . . .
